Brock’s Innovative TRI-CORR Floor
The TRI-CORR® Floor System is designed to be used in grain bins ranging in diameters from 12 to 90 feet (3.7 to 27.4 m) and with eave heights up to 100 feet (30.5 m).
The system gets its name from its distinctive triangle-shaped center leg and the strength-providing corrugations on the floor’s surface and legs, which add stability and ensure long-lasting performance.
Brock’s exclusive modified “M”-shaped profile (patented) introduces a unique middle support leg to the floor plank, providing a third weight-bearing point. This innovative design sets it apart from other floors, which typically only use two support legs. This groundbreaking feature offers tremendous strength, enabling the floor to effectively bridge between supports and transfer weight loads from the plank to the floor support.
The flat floor plank is popular for easier bin sweeping and grain clean-up operations, providing a smooth surface for these tasks.
Designed to work as a unified system, the plank and floor support are built to withstand the stresses of repeated loading and unloading. The system can also handle normal operating loads imposed by most stirring devices.
The planks are roll-formed from high-tensile, galvanized steel, ensuring durability and longevity.
To accommodate various sizes of grain, the system offers hole size options with openings that are .050 or .094 inches (1.3 or 2.4 mm) in diameter.
The patented Brock PARTHENON® Support System is specifically engineered for use with Brock’s TRI-CORR® Aeration Flooring. This system offers a superior load-bearing capacity, complementing the strength of the TRI-CORR Floor.
PARTHENON Supports are available in two options to provide 13 3/4-inch or 18 1/2-inch (349-mm or 470-mm) floor heights, ideal for grain drying and aeration. The low-profile PARTHENON Support offers sufficient floor clearance to accommodate 10-inch (254-mm) diameter unloading systems.
Designed for quick and easy installation, the PARTHENON System requires only half the usual number of support rows, reducing the number of supports needed by two-thirds.
The system uses a non-staggered installation and incorporates an inter-lock system, allowing the supports to easily lock together and eliminate any movement, ensuring stability.
Additionally, the design of the support helps to compensate for uneven concrete flooring, providing a level and reliable foundation for your grain bin.
The aerodynamic design of the PARTHENON Support’s built-in vertical column aids in efficient airflow through tunnels and near fans, optimizing aeration and ensuring even grain drying.
